Jan's Working with Databases

Using Access

Lesson Versions

Newer versions: Access 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016

Archived older versions:   Access: 2002, 2003

A database program lets you keep track of data that is not all numbers. Excel might be better when most of the information is numbers and calculations.

Access 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016 use a different style of interface than older versions of Access. They put controls for the most common actions on ribbon tabs instead of toolbars.

Choose the lessons that match the version of Access that you have and get started!
