   Format: Exercise PPT 2-4

You need to use what you just learned, and maybe learn a little more. Complete all parts of the following exercises. Don't forget to backup your Class disk when you have completed the exercises or whenever you stop for the day and saved a document along the way.

 

This exercise does not use any of the resource files. You will be creating a presentation with a template of your own choice.


Exercise PowerPoint 2-4: On Your Own


What you will do: Create and format a presentation, including animations and transitions.


You can create a new presentation using a content template or starting with blank slides, or you can use the presentation you did for Exercise 1-4 as a template for a new presentation.

  • Create a new presentation using a template that has content slides of some sort.
  • Format the presentation using a theme.
  • Make changes to the Slide Master
    Record
    what you changed in the slide notes for the first slide.
    • Change fonts, font sizes, placeholders - size, position
    • Add or change animations
    • Add or change transitions
  • Icon: Class flash drive Save your changed presentation to your Class disk with the name  ex2-4-Lastname-Firstname.pptx .
  • Icon: Printer Choose an appropriate layout and print your presentation as a handout. Include a header with your name, the date, and PowerPoint Ex. 2-4.
  • Icon: Class flash driveSave the presentation as a template to your Class disk with the name  ex2-4-Lastname-Firstname.potx .
