This exercise does not use any of the resource files. You will be creating a presentation with a wizard.

Exercise PowerPoint 2-4: On Your Own


What you will do: Format a presentation, including animations and transitions.


You can create a new presentation from the AutoContent Wizard or starting with blank slides, or you can format the presentation you did for Exercise 1-4.

  • Format the presentation using a design template.
  • Make changes to the formatting of the Slide & Title masters and record what you changed.
    • fonts, font sizes, placeholders

  • Class disk Save your changed presentation to your Class disk with the name  ex2-4.ppt .
  • Icon: Printer Choose an appropriate layout and print your presentation as a handout. Include a header with your name, the date, and PowerPoint Ex. 2-4 at the left.
  • Class diskSave the presentation as a template to your Class disk with the name  ex2-4.pot .
